The Starting Point for a Successful Visit

Dr. Young and our team welcome you to Bradford Young Family & Cosmetic Dentistry! Our goal of providing high-quality dentistry starts by making sure you and your loved ones are fully equipped and prepared for a successful first visit. We know there is a lot of information to try and remember, so we’ve created the following page to include the most important items you need to know before your arrival. If you have any questions about what you see, don’t hesitate to contact our office.

Your First Visit

Before your first appointment with us, our team will text or email your new patient forms to be completed prior to your visit for your convenience. We ask that you please fill these out or arrive 15 minutes early to fill them out in-office.

When arriving for your first appointment, you will be welcomed by our front desk staff. You will check in and complete any additional new patient information before being escorted to a treatment room. There, we will take digital X-rays and scans of your mouth and head before one of our hygienists begins to examine your teeth and prepare you to meet Dr. Young. He will arrive to conduct an oral evaluation, checking for decay, gum disease, improper bite alignment, and oral cancer. Afterward, he will offer recommended treatment options should any be necessary.

Your hygienist will then begin to clean your teeth, removing any plaque and tartar buildup before flossing and polishing your pearly whites for a healthier smile.

Patient Forms

When calling to schedule your appointment, our team will make sure you receive your new patient forms via text or email before your visit. This allows you to experience a faster check-in process when you arrive.

Dental Insurance

Our office is an in-network provider for several PPO dental insurance plans, and we’re happy to file your claim on your behalf so that you can be sure to receive the maximum available benefits. Our team is here to make sure the financial aspects of dental care do not become stressful for you, so let us know if you have any questions on how we can help you save.

CareCredit Financing

If you need treatment that is not covered by your dental insurance, or you need help to pay the out-of-pocket costs, you can enroll in one of the low or no-interest financing plans available through CareCredit. This allows you to break down your bill into manageable monthly payments so that you do not overextend your budget. By financing your treatment, you can avoid the stress and uncertainty many patients experience when preparing to receive dental care.
